About the Artist

As a landscape painter I spend many days each year outdoors studying nature. Effects of light and atmospheric conditions through out changing seasons give me much inspiration and ideas for paintings.   When working out on location I find working directly from the scene is the key to understanding the essence of making a good painting.  My work continues to evolve as a combination of traditional techniques and personal innovation.        David Burt
